Attracting Better Employees

Attracting Better Employees

Forbes Magazine’s Coaches Council just post a really intriguing article that should cause a lot of self-reflection about the hiring processes businesses use. The Council asked 12 questions:

  1. Have you assessed your bench?

  2. What drives your employees to deliver their best?

  3. What do you mean by “better”?

  4. What is your end goal?

  5. Are you managing your culture?

  6. What is your current sourcing strategy?

  7. How many female leaders do you have?

  8. What’s driving your organization’s culture?

  9. How attractive is the leadership you represent?

  10. What are your retention and engagement like now?

  11. What are the challenges of the current process?

  12. What direction are you heading?

These questions may not all be applicable to your current situation as a business owner, but they do merit contemplative thought, to one degree or another. They just might help your company be a better and more profitable business.
